Snacks For Trips

Traveling is enjoyable but a busy task, and we don’t really preplan meals while on the road, often times leading us to eat out at fast food restaurants along the way. I found that keeping snacks with me minimizes my fast food intake and helps me not get hungry as quickly or often. 

Dry Snacks

Assorted Nuts; peanuts, pecans, cashews, or almonds,
Trail Mix
Dried Fruit
Gold Fish
Fruit; apples, bananas, oranges

Bring a Cooler

Bringing a cooler opens the door to a lot more food options with little effort. I normally stop at a Circle K on my way out of town, buy a bag of ice and arrange everything, then I hit the road. This is so convenient and versatile, if you don’t want to buy ice you can always freeze water bottles and have cold water and ice packs.

Fruit: grapes, strawberries, bananas, apples, oranges.
Cold Drinks
Veggies; carrot sticks, celery, cucumber, bell peppers.
